I’m proud to be the founding contributor of the Pierre Lacasse Bursary at the Yukon University Foundation. What began as a $1,000 annual gift with a five-year commitment has grown into a $1,500 annual contribution for another five years, recognizing the rising cost of education and the financial challenges students face today.
Mentorship
In 2008, I became a “big brother” to Maris, a nine-year-old boy at the time. Nearly two decades later, he remains a cherished part of our family. Mentorship is one of the most rewarding parts of community involvement, and I’d encourage anyone considering it to take that first step.
